Uppsala University (UU) – the Department of Material Science and Engineering, the Division of Solar Cell Technology. The group has attracted funding and awards from national and European funding and is the coordinator of ARCIGS-M and SITA (ongoing). ARCIGS-M project was evaluated as Excellent.

Uppsala University is an associated partner to InnoEnergy and part of the Master's education in Energy Technology. The guest professorship in Climate Change Leadership is another interdisciplinary initiative bridging from technology to policy.

The main infrastructures available to carry out the project research activities include i) Prototyping line for small area solar cells/modules; ii) Analysis equipment for solar cell and thin film, including SEM, TEM, Glow discharge optical emission Spectroscopy (for profiling); light and dark jV at room T and T controlled, among others; iii) Outdoor testing site.
